(22/10)The 24th President Trophy Kendo Competition was successfully conclude.

The 24th President Trophy Kendo Competition was successfully held at the Island East Sports Centre. The Kendo competition includes Women’s 3-member team event and Men’s 5-member team event. The president of the Kendo Association of Hong Kong, China, Mr. Wong Po Kit, in his opening speech says that the number of Kendo practitioners in Hong Kong has increased, with more people participating. He hoped that in this competition, the focus would not be solely on winning or losing, but on demonstrating correct Kendo attitude.

Women’s 3-member team event:

Winner: Shoujinkan C

2nd Runner-up: Renshinkan A

3rd Runner-up: Sekishinkan and Koubukan A

Fighting Spirit Awards: Jessica Rincon Arzayus, Lin Ching Hsuan Sharon, Yeung Tze Ching, Kate Lau, Xia Xue, Yeung Ka Yan Candiss

Men’s 5-member team event:

Winner: Shoujinkan B

2nd Runner-up: Vajra Kendo Club A

3rd Runner-up: Sekishinkan A and Seishinkan A
