Sumi Masatake sensei (8Dan Hanshi) and Tosu Takeshi sensei (8Dan Kyoshi) successfully conclude the Kendo seminar held on 21st, and from 23rd to 25th Sep. During the four days kendo seminar, Sumi Masatake sensei shared his training methods for senior practitioners, his insights on the Bokuto Keikohou, the way of shinpan in Nippon Kendo Kata competition and his experience in Kendo Kihon with the participants. Tosu Takeshi sensei emphasized important points to be mindful of during Kendo Kihon practice. Two senseis did keiko with the participants. In the conclusion, Sumi Masatake sensei encouraged the participants to relax their upper body after striking, avoid excessive arm strength, and use Suri Ashi footwork to move away from the opponent.
