2026 France Open and the HK Team Selection

France Kendo Open 2026 will take place from 7^th (Sat) and 8^th (Sun) February 2026 (Sunday) and has invited the Kendo Association of Hong Kong, China to join the event.

Details are as follows:

Location: Athletica, Eaubonne, France

Event: Individual Match

Men A	1-3 Dan	Under Age 40
Men B	4-6 Dan	Under Age 40
Men C	1-6 Dan	Above Age 40
Women A	1-3 Dan	Above Age 18
Women B	4-6 Dan	Above Age 18
Junior Men	\	Age 17 or under
Junior Women	\	Age 17 or under
7 Dan Open (Mixed Gender)	7 Dan	\

Event: Team Match

Mixed Gender 3 Members Team Event

Target:

1) Hong Kong, China Squad Team members

2) HKKA members & Affliate Dojo members

(Subject to the final decision of the Executive Committee of HKKA)

Travelling schedule: (To be confirmed) Departure on 5^th Feb 2026 (Thu) and return on 9^thFeb 2026 (Mon)

Participation fee: HKD5000 per player. Extra eligible expenditures will be covered by HKKA.

HKKA will prepare Travel insurance for participants.

Interested individuals must participate in the selection competition. The details of the selection competition are as follows:
Date: 7^th December 2025 (Sunday)
Location: Queen Elizabeth Stadium
Selection Competition Time: 8:30 AM

Participants are requested to register. The Association will notify the selected participants separately.

Registration Deadline: 3^rd December (Wednesday), 2025.
