Sumi Masatake sensei (Hanshi 8 Dan) and Sumi Kaoru sensei (Naginata Hanshi 5 Dan) Kendo and Naginata seminars

HKKA gratefully invited Sumi Masatake sensei (Hanshi 8 Dan) and Sumi Kaoru sensei (Naginata Hanshi 5 Dan) to visit Hong Kong, they will host Kendo and Naginata seminars on 30th November and 1st December to share their knowledge and expertise with us.

Details of the seminar are as follows:

 

Naginata Seminar

Host: Sumi Kaoru sensei (Naginata Hanshi 5 Dan)

Date: 30th November (Saturday)

Time: 1pm-3pm

Location: Java Road Sports Centre (99 Java Road, North Point)- Large Activity Room 2

Target: Welcome for all levels of Naginata practitioners.

Entry Fee: HKD$$200 (College and Primary Student Free of Charge.)

 

1-5 Dan Kendo Examination Seminar

Host: Sumi Masatake sensei (Hanshi 8 Dan)

Date: 30th November (Saturday)

Time: 3pm-5pm

Location: Java Road Sports Centre (99 Java Road, North Point)- Large Activity Room 1

Target: Priority to those exam candidates on 1/12 Kendo examination

Quota:50 people

Entry Fee: HKD$200 (College and Primary Student Free of Charge.)

Welcome Dinner

Date: 30th November 2024 (Saturday)

Time: 6pm

Venue: Sun Kong Restaurant (North Point)

Address: 33 Marble Road, North Point, H.K.

Fee: HKD$200 per person

 

Kendo Seminar/Keiko

Host: Sumi Masatake sensei (Hanshi 8 Dan)

Date: 1st December (Sunday)

Time: 2pm-4pm

Location: Smithfield Sports Centre- 5/F Dancing Room

Target: Suitable for all level Kendo practitioners with bogu. (Please bring bogu and shinai.)

Entry Fee: HKD$200 (College and Primary Student Free of Charge.)

 

Payment is also required for members who will join Keiko only.

Prepayment HKD$200, On-site payment HKD$250.

Interested individuals MUST register through their Dojo President/representatives. Please email the registration form and payment record to us on or before 26th November 2024 (Tue) 12pm.

If you show up on the day without registration and payment, you must pay HKD$250 on-site.

Note 1: Prior registration and prepayment is REQUIRED irrespective of Dan levels.

Note 2: Participants MUST register through dojo representatives.

All applications will be subjected to the final decision of the Executive Committee of HKKA.

PAYMENT METHOD

1.Participants should deposit the payment to The Kendo Association of Hong Kong, China Limited bank account in Hang Seng Bank Limited: 281- 264200-001 while using cash deposit, ATM or online transfer. The receipt should be sent to HKKA by post, e-mail or fax.
