The 6th Hangzhou Kendo Competition

HKKA has received an invitation that the 6^th Hangzhou Kendo Championship will be held on 8^th Aug to 10^th Aug in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. For competition details, please refer to the information in the attachment.

Competition Dates: 9^th -10^th Aug 2025 (Saturday and Sunday)
Competition Venue: 阿里巴巴西溪園區C區體育館 杭州市餘杭區文一西路969號(English Name Not Provided)

Designated Hotel: Hangzhou Future Science Town The Mulian Hotel (Alibaba Xixi Campus)

Address: Building 2, Haichuang Park, No.998 Wenyi West Road, Future Science and Technology City, Yuhang District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang, 310000, China(500M to the venue, around 10mins walk.)

Price: RMB350 per night (Single/Double the same price and can pay on arrival.

Reservations can be made on the registration platform. Room availability is limited, so please book as early as possible.

For selected Hong Kong, China Squad Members:

1.    Participation Fee: HKD 2,000 per person, with additional eligible expenses covered by the Association.

2.    The Association will purchase travel insurance for all participants.

3.    If there is a selection competition, interested squad members must participate. The Association will issue a separate notification to the selected participants.

4.    The registration fee includes lunch for two days.

5.    Members of the Hong Kong, China squad team are only allowed to select double rooms and must share with teammates of the same gender. When registering, only one member from each room needs to submit the hotel reservation and indicate it as a double room.

6.    If participants are unable to attend due to issues with their travel documents/Visa/personal reasons, the Association will still require them to pay all fees.

For Self-Funded Athletes

Fee:

1.      The Association(HKKA) will only purchase travel insurance for the participants within the competition period and will not provide other subsidy for this competition.

2.      Local participants are required to arrange their own accommodation and transportation.

3.      If participants are unable to attend due to issues with their travel documents/Visa/personal reasons, the Association will still require them to pay all fees.

Registration Method

1.      For Hong Kong, China Squad Members:

1.      Please scan the QR code below to register.

2.      Please transfer the participation fees of HKD $2,000 to the HKKA office as indicated above. Email the proof of payment to the office

3.      Please fill in the travel insurance excel along with your copy of Hong Kong ID number and Home Return Permit card.

4.      All participants must sign and submit the disclaimer. Participants aged 17 or below must submit the parental agreement form.

2.      For Self-Funded Athletes:

1.      Please inform your dojo’s president/representative.

2.      Please scan the QR code below to register.

3.      Please transfer the registration fee to the HKKA office as indicated above. Email the proof of payment to the office.

4.      Dojo’s president/representatives please fill in the travel insurance excel along with your the member ‘s copy of Hong Kong ID number and Home Return Permit card.

5.      All participants must sign and submit the disclaimer. Participants aged 17 or below must submit the parental agreement form.
