The Kendo Association of Hong Kong, China is pleased to announce the 22nd Hong Kong Asian Open Kendo Championships will be held on 27th March – 29th March, 2026 (Friday to Sunday). We now inviting all HKKA Members & Dojo members who are interested in joining the 22nd HK Asian Open Kendo Championships to apply for selection

Participants in the selection must attend the internal selection competition on Sunday. The competition will be held in a round-robin format, with the following dates:
25th January , 15th February, 22nd February, 1st March, and 8th March.
If you are unable to attend on any of these dates, please make sure to inform the organizers by the Wednesday of that week to make the necessary arrangements.
※ Coaches will consider all participants commitment, skills and internal shiai result to select representatives.
※ Hong Kong, China Team Coaches and the Executive Committee of HKKA will have the final decision for the selection of representatives and the arrangement of team order.

For other Dojo members, kindly register with your Dojo president or representative. The Dojo president or representative is pleased to collect the names, complete the registration form, and email it back to the Association.

Dojo Masters and Sensei are also welcome to attend our training sessions, keiko, and serving as shinpan(referee) in this event to show support to Hong Kong kendo development.
