Matsuda Isato sensei(Hanshi 8 Dan)Kendo Seminar

HKKA gratefully invited Matsuda Isato sensei (Hanshi 8 Dan) to visit Hong Kong on 9^th and 10^th Jan 2026 to held Kendo seminar. Matsuda Isato sensei will also serve as Shinpancho (Head of referee) for 18th Hong Kong Open Novice Kendo Championships and The 15th Hong Kong Open Junior Kendo Championships on 11^th Jan.

Details of the seminar are as follows:

Date: 9^th Jan (Friday)

Time: 9pm to 10:45pm 

Location: Java Road Sports Centre- 3/F Room1

Content: Kendo Kihon and Keiko

Target: Suitable to all level of Kendo practitioner (Please bring Kendo Bogu)

Entry Fee: HKD$150 (College and Primary Student Free of Charge.)

Date: 10^th Jan (Saturday)

Time: 9am to 1pm

Location: Ap Lei Chau Sports Centre- 1/F Large Activity Room

Content: Kendo Kihon and Keiko

Target: Suitable to all level of Kendo practitioner(Please bring Kendo Bogu and Bokuto)

Entry Fee: HKD$150 (College and Primary Student Free of Charge.)

Details of the dinner event following Matsuda Isato sensei Kendo seminar on 10^th January (Sat) are as follows:

Location: Sea East Restaurant(Shop 2, G/F & Shop 3, 1/F, Command Tower, 145 Ap Lei Chau Main Street, Ap Lei Chau)

Fees: HKD $100

You can respond by filling out the Google form. Those who have already submitted can use WhatsApp to contact the secretary's office to add registration and submit payment proof.

Dojo/Kendo club members

1. must register through your President/representative. The President/representative collect the entry fees and submit the registration form along with the entry fee from Dojo/Kendo Clubs by the deadline or earlier.

2. For dine gathering, interested parties can register on the dine section of the registration form.

Payment is also required for members who would like to join Keiko only. Prepayment HKD$150, On-site payment HKD$200.

Notes:

2.    If you show up on the day without registration and payment, you must pay HKD$200 on-site.

3.    Individual registration is NOT allowed.

4.    All applications will be subjected to the final decision of the Executive Committee of HKKA.

1.Participants should deposit the payment in The Kendo Association of Hong Kong, China Limited bank account in Hang Seng Bank Limited: 281- 264200-001 while using cash deposit, ATM or online transfer. The receipt should be sent to HKKA by post, e-mail or fax.
