The Hong Kong, China Kendo Team achieved excellent results in multiple categories at the 5th South China Kendo Open Championship.

The 5th South China Kendo Open was held on 10^th and 11^th May in Foshan, Guangdong Province. The Hong Kong, China Kendo Team achieved remarkable results in various categories. In the Male Teenager Event (ages 13-17), Li Ching Long won the 2^nd place and Chan Kei Ching took the3rd place. In the Female Teenager Event (ages 13-17), Chan Tsz Lam secured the 3^rd place.

The Hong Kong, China Team I (Chan Kei Ching, Leong Ching Hei, Li Ching Long) won the championship in the Teenager Team Event, while Hong Kong, China Team D (Kan Patric Tsz Kin, Tam Sze Hang, Chan Sze Long) and Hong Kong, China Team F (Wu Yiu Nam, Chan Tsz Lam, Pong Ka Yam) both won 3^rd place.

In the Men's Individual Competition (no dan to 1 Dan category), Cheng Ho Kwan won the 3^rd place, and Ng Hiu Leong won the 3^rd place in the Men's Individual Competition (2 Dan category). Yau Yee Ting Queennie won the championship in the Women's Individual Competition (Open category).
