The Kendo Association of Hong Kong, China are pleased to announce that The 69th Festival of Sport - Guangdong - Hong Kong - Macao - Greater Bay Area Kendo Tournament will be held on 7th June 2026 at the Kowloon Park Sports Centre.
Due to changes in the competition format from last year, please carefully review the competition rules and programms, player, referee, and helper registration form to understand the details of the competition, fees, and other relevant information.

(A1) Children Individual (I) (Age 6-9, Mixed)
(A2) Children Individual (II) (Age 10-12, Mixed)
(B) Male Teenage Individual (Age 13 – 17)
(C) Female Teenage Individual (Age 13 – 17)
(D) Women’s Individual (Aged 18 - 70, No Dan – 2 Dan)
(E) Women’s Open Individual (Aged 18-70, No Dan Restriction)
(F) Men’s Individual (Aged 18-70, No Dan – 2 Dan)
(G) Men’s Individual (Aged 18-70, 3 Dan – 4 Dan)
(H) Men’s Open Individual (Aged 18-70, No Dan Restriction)
Entry Fee: HK$250 per person (Payment includes competition fees and personal accident insurance. This competition does not provide lunch box.)

Referee Recruitment
1. REGISTERED COACHES and
2. Attends Referee Seminar in the past year and
3. 3 Dan or above (Priority given to those attending kendo seminars from the past year. The 3 Dan Kendo practitioners will mainly serve as referee in Children or Teenagers events. )
Please kindly noted that this competition time schedule is expected to be very tight, and Kendo sensei who do not participate in the competition will be given priority to help referee work.

Referee Dress Code: Kendo Gi and Hakama
Due to the venue providing central air conditioning, referees are advised to bring their own warm clothing.
