CKOU The 1st South China Kendo Open Championship at Guangzhou

CKOU has invited Hong Kong Kendo Association to join the 2019 CKOU The 1st South China Kendo Open Championship at Guangzhou, China from 11th May – 12th May, 2019.

The information is as follows:-

Date: 11th May – 12th May, 2019 (Sat-Sun)

Location: Guangzhou, China

Target: 

1. Hong Kong Squad members or Junior Squad members have higher priority

2. University Students higher priority 

3. HKKA members & Affiliate Dojo members

Quota: Maximum 20 persons – 5 ladies & 15 men 

Schedule:  *(participants are required to departure together and return together) 

11 May 2019 (Sat) 12:00 -12:45 Registration and shinai check 

11 May 2019 (Sat) 14:00 – 17:30

Opening Ceremony, University (Ladies) & (Men - No dan) & (Men - with dan); Men (no dan, 1 -3 dan events) & Female (no dan, 1 -2 dan /Individual, Keiko 

12 May 2019 (Sun) 9:00 – 17:30

Ladies’ 2 dan or above, 5 men team & 5 ladies team, Prizing Ceremony, Keiko 

Subvention:  Each participant will be subsidized around HKD$1,000 by HKKA. 

Participants must pay for their own expenses first. Subvention will be made by HKKA after completion of trip and submission of the report and all expenses receipts (copies will not be accepted).

*The trip travel period must between 11th May (arrival) – 12th May, 2019 (departure) after the event the reimbursement receipts submission should be within 11th May – 12th May, 2019). 

HKKA will prepare Travel insurance for all participants.

All applications will be subject to the final decision of the Executive Committee of HKKA.
