17th HK Asian Open Kendo Championships 2017 (Local participants)

We are pleased to announce the 17th HK Asian Open Kendo Championships 2017 will be held on 10th March – 12th March 2017 (Friday to Sunday) at Tin Shui Wai Sports Centre, New Territories.

Members who are interested in joining the 17th HK Asian Open Kendo Championships, please submit the application form either by email hkka@hkolympic.org or by fax (2890 8052).

Application deadline: on or before 17:00, 19th January 2017 (Thu)

Attention:

1.     Participants who have registered are required to attend the HKKA training every Sunday. The training will start from 22nd January,2017. Attendance will be taken and scores will be counted during the Shiai on Sunday. 

Training schedule are as follows:

Every Sunday

22/1 , 5/2, 12/2, 26/2

9:30a.m.-10:30a.m. Shiai  

10:30a.m.-11:30a.m. Waza and Basic

11:30a.m.-12:30p.m. Keiko

Venue: Function room 2, Wan Chai Queens Elizabeth Stadium

*Venue and Time of 19/2 and 5/3 are subjected to confirmation. 

(The venue and training time may vary according to booking, it would mainly in Hong Kong Island. Changes in training location and time slot will not be informed personally, thus members are required to keep up with the updated training time and venue online regularly.)

2.     Because the number of teams are limited and the teams are representing Hong Kong, the Coaches of Hong Kong Team will decide the HK Team members and arrange the team Order of this Championship. 

3. Dojo masters and sensei are welcome to join in keiko/shinpan/shiai-keiko to show supports to the Hong Kong team training.
