Invitation of Atsugi International Kendo Festival 2016

Atsugi Kendo Association (厚木剣道聯盟) is holding the 2016 Atsugi Kendo Tournament (Individual match) on 23rd October, 2016 (Sun) and has invited Hong Kong Kendo Association to join the event. The application is now open to all members and affiliated members.

Event Details:

In November 2014, to celebrate the establishment of Atsugi Kendo Association for 60 years, Hong Kong Kendo Association had been invited to join the “Atsugi International Kendo Festival”. We have sent five representatives to join the tournament on 2nd November 2014, and since then the connections with Atsugi Kendo Association have been enhanced. Therefore, the Atsugi Kendo Association held an emergency meeting on 4th September 2016 to discuss and approve the opening up of event for Hong Kong Kendo Association members and affiliated members to participate, in order to deepen the connections and interactions of the associations. 

Location: Atsugi City Ogino Athletic Park Stadium (厚木市荻野運動公園體育館)

Event:

Individual Match

-       Female group

-       Male group ( 3 Dan or below )

-       Male group ( 4 Dan or above )

Target: 

1)      Hong Kong Squad members or Junior Squad members have higher priority

2)      HKKA members & Affiliate Dojo members

the travelling schedule is confirmed during registration. 

(Subject to the final decision of  the Executive Committee of HKKA) 

Travelling schedule: Departure on 22nd October 2016 (Sat) and return on 24th October 2016(Mon)

Subvention:  Each participant will be subsidized around HKD 2,500 by HKKA. 

Participants must pay for their own expenses first. Subvention will be made by HKKA after completion of trip and submission of report and all expenses receipts(copies will not be accepted) .
