Kendo Experience Class (Active Adults, Parents & Child, and Youth)

Date: every Sunday November to December (4,11,18,25/11/2018) - (2,9,23,30/12/2018)

Venue: No. 1 Dancing Room, Harbour Road Sports Centre, 27 Harbour Road, Wan Chai

Active Adults (Aged 40 to 65)

Parents and children (Aged 6 to 12 plus 1 parent)

Youth (Aged 13 to 18)

Registration fees: HKD$600/person (8 Lessons)

Shinai & shinai bag: $350 *can be waived if you have your own equipment

Application deadline: till quota is full 

Objective: promote Kendo and Japanese culture to the public and help participants to cultivate agility, dexterity, instant response, endurance and correct posture; develop habits and patience, nourish, cultivate concentration, decisiveness, and sportsmanship.

Content: Skills demonstration – dojo etiquette and discipline, Shinai (bamboo sword) handling, Kata, kendo movement face, hand, and punch strike practice.
